The scope of work included excavation of the new retreat house site, stabilization of the construction site, final grading, and paving of the driveway and parking area for the house. HCCA also provided several hundred yards of mulch and about 40 volunteers to cover about a half mile of walking trails in the wooded area of the property.

Keller Williams Realty assembled a coalition of their sales offices in the Northern Virginia area to organize a very enjoyable fundraising event at the 2 Silos Brewing Company in Manassas, VA. The Warrior Retreat at Bull Run was chosen as one of several Non-Profit Organizations as benefactors of the proceeds. KW also chose the Retreat for their annual community service Red Day. About 40 of their agents and employees planted dozens of flowers and shrubs around the grounds of the retreat property.
For the third straight year, Deloitte Company also chose our Retreat for their annual community service day project. Their project included building a new fence around our serenity garden area, painting the rail fence around the property, painting a pavilion structure and installing new shingles to the roof, weeding flower beds, and general clean-up of grounds.
A very appreciative and heartfelt THANK YOU to all of these great organizations for their time and support!
