Employee Spotlight: Angie Osborn – House Prep Team Lead
It takes over 18 concentrated man hours to clean and turn over the Warrior Retreat house for guest stays. The House Prep team consists of 10 volunteers and meets at the house every Wednesday, promptly at 9:30 AM to work their magic on the 11,000 square foot home.
At the helm and serving as the House Prep Team Lead is Angie Osborne. As a military wife, Angie would be the first to tell you her heart is here. Originally from New Jersey, a former PTO President, and mother of two, Angie first learned about Serve Our Willing Warriors at an Open House during the summer of 2016.
Angie says her favorite part of House Prep, and volunteering, is hearing how much the guests enjoyed themselves and that a clean and personally staged house, made the Retreat feel like home. She loves her team and says, “They are truly friends and are always laughing.” As close as the House Prep Team is, there are a few things even they might not know about Angie.
